HOW WILL MY ARTWORK BE SHIPPED?
After you have paid for your property, the final step is to make arrangements for collection and shipping. We can help you arrange packing and shipping or you can use your own carrier. When asking for a quote, keep in mind that your location, the size of the work, and packing materials will all contribute to the final cost. We recommend requesting a shipment with tracking and insurance for all shipments in the rare case that something goes wrong. If the artwork is being shipped internationally, we also recommend asking whether customs fees are included to avoid any surprises down the road.
Landbjartr ARTS can arrange expert delivery and convenient shipping of your property or you can use your own carrier. We will compile a full range of services for you, including collection, packing and arranging for shipping and transit insurance worldwide. Following your purchase, we will send you a competitive and comprehensive shipping quote. For details on how your artwork will ship, please visit the individual artwork page for the pieces you are interested in. Each item ships individually directly from the artist themselves, so it will vary depending upon how the artist plans to ship it. Look for these 3 categories:
1. SHIPS IN A CARDBOARD BOX
This item will ship flat in a sturdy, well-protected cardboard box. We work with our artists every step of the way to ensure artworks are shipped according to our very high standards. Expect your artwork to arrive with plenty of support packaged in to make its journey as safe as possible as it travels from the artist’s studio to your home.
2. SHIPS IN A CRATE
This item will ship in a wooden crate. Large artworks are shipped in a very sturdy crate that is built for shipping art all around the world. The crate will contain packaging materials that meet our strict guidelines to keep it firmly in place during its journey, and will be tightly sealed together.
3. SHIPS IN A TUBE
This item will arrive rolled in a dent-resistant tube. This method is especially safe for oversized works, and provides lower shipping costs as well. Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Upon immediate delivery, we highly recommend you send any works on paper directly to your framer for cautious, professional unrolling of the artwork.
If you proceed with the Landbjartr ARTS shipping quote items are usually delivered within seven to fourteen (7-14) business days of payment clearance, and once the delivery information is confirmed, you will receive an email with a confirmation number to track the status of your delivery. SIGNING UPON DELIVERY
Your tracking number will generally indicate whether a signature is required to receive a shipment. If you’re worried about a shipment, we recommend shipping to a location where someone can receive your work, like an office building.
CHECKING YOUR ORDER STATUS
You will receive an email from Landbjartr ARTS whenever there is an update to your order. The shipping confirmation email will include tracking information so that you may follow along with your shipment.
