ORIGINAL ARTWORK RETURN POLICY
CAN I CANCEL OR RETURN A WORK I ORDERED IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
In most cases sales are final. For final sale purchases, make sure you do your research in advance. In particular, we recommend asking about the artwork’s condition and getting high-resolution images of the work in different lighting to get the best sense of color, texture, and feel. However, in the rare case that the artwork was not accurately described prior to purchase or if it was damaged when shipped by the gallery, please contact us at email@example.com
WHAT TO DO IF THE ORIGINAL ARTWORK ARRIVES DAMAGED
1. Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date email firstname.lastname@example.org to give us your order information.
2. Save the original packaging. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials used by the artist. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely to the artist. Please refer to our Packaging Guidelines for instructions on how to safely package artwork for shipment.
3. Take photos of damaged artwork and packaging. Please email these photos to email@example.com
4. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to complete the return process. Landbjartr ARTS will contact you to discuss the next steps. Once the piece safely reaches the artist, we will process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original order - minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any - within seven to ten (7-10) business days of your merchandise return.
WHO PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS?
If we determine that the artwork was accurately described on our site - in terms of size, materials used, weight, etc - and the collector is returning it as a result of buyers remorse, then the collector is held responsible for return costs. In the rare case that something arrives significantly different than described, or arrives damaged, let us know at email@example.com. We’ll work on a resolution.
Limited Edition Prints and Open Edition Prints are not considered Original Artworks and cannot be cancelled or returned.
